About Us
Comphire is a privately owned and operated company, proud of our Kalgoorlie Goldfields heritage. Started in 1996 to service a small group of valued customers, we have evolved into five distinct divisions:

Comphire uses a world class machining facility in Kalgoorlie for the manufacture of quality rotating parts. And our refurbishment facility includes a dedicated pedestal assembly clean room.

Helical Rotor - Underground Dewatering Pumps
- We specialise in helical rotor – underground dewatering pumps and partner with end users to improve OEM product (NOV/Mono and Challenge/Cemo).
Comphire has made many improvements to OEM helical rotor pumps that greatly increases service life. We appreciate our partnership customer input into the development of all our products and we engage in controlled product trials with them. We don’t want to reinvent the wheel with these parts; our aim is to improve parts that OEM manufactures do not improve because longer lasting parts reduces their income from future sales. These manufactures are usually foreign companies and funds are channelled offshore with little benefit to the Australian economy or jobs.
We also sell and service general mining equipment, mining powertrain components, mechanical plants and more.

We provide underground dewatering pumps and diesel powered air compressors for hire.
